Browsers block cross-origin downloads unless the host opts in (CORS).
GitHub's archive endpoint does not, so a GitHub repo or an arbitrary
.zip URL usually needs a CORS proxy — put its prefix below,
or just download the zip and use Open a local project above,
which always works.
